Today your adventure begins with your home pick up in Hobart, then it is time to head north on your scenic journey through Tasmania’s charming countryside.
Enjoy a relaxing tea/coffee break in Campbell Town, stretch your legs, explore the heritage streetscape, and soak in the quiet country atmosphere.
Step back in time with a guided tour of Franklin House, an elegant Georgian homestead rich in colonial history and character. As you wander through beautifully preserved rooms, your guide will bring to life the stories of early European settlement, offering fascinating insight into 19th-century Tasmanian life. Surrounded by tranquil gardens and sweeping lawns, this experience provides a captivating glimpse into the heritage and charm of a bygone era. While onsite also enjoy lunch catered by Franklin House.
This afternoon we travel into Launceston CBD, with time to explore you can check out local businesses, visit City Park or enjoy the ammenities at your accomoodation, the elegant Hotel Grand Chancellor, where comfort and refined hospitality await. End the day with a lovely 2-course dinner.
Day 2 11th Nov26
Begin your day with a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, savouring the quiet morning atmosphere before setting out to explore the beauty of Northern Tasmania. Discover the rich pastoral heritage of Woolmers Estate, one of Australia’s most significant historic properties and part of a UNESCO World Heritage listed convict site. On a guided tour, guests will explore the beautifully preserved homestead, original outbuildings, and the evocative National Rose Garden home to one of the largest collections of historic roses in the Southern Hemisphere. Your guide will share compelling stories of the Archer family, whose legacy shaped the estate over generations, offering insight into early colonial life, farming innovation, and Tasmania’s convict past. Enjoy a visit to Blenheim Gallery & Garden, a delightful fusion of art, history, and natural beauty set within a charming historic setting. Wander through the intimate gallery spaces showcasing a thoughtfully curated collection of local artwork, before stepping outside to explore the enchanting cottage gardens, bursting with seasonal colour and old-world charm. This afternoon visit Brickendon Estate, a remarkably preserved farming property and UNESCO World Heritage listed site. On a guided tour, guests will explore original farm buildings, convict quarters, and heritage cottages, gaining insight into the daily lives of those who lived and worked on the estate in the early 19th century. Still a working farm today, Brickendon offers a glimpse into Australia’s agricultural evolution. Return to Hotel Grand Chancellor Launceston for the evening and for your dinner.

Breakfast is at the hotel once again this morning, before your explorations begin. Continue on to the world-renowned Bridestowe Lavender Estate, where endless rows of fragrant lavender (just starting to bud) stretch as far as the eye can see. On a guided tour discover the fascinating story behind Tasmania’s lavender industry, wander through the distillery and gift shop, and breathe in the calming scent that fills the air. The next stop is a visit to Ashgrove Cheese Dairy, a true celebration of local craftsmanship. Learn about the farm’s paddock-to-plate philosophy, meet the heritage-bred cows and sample a selection of rich, award-winning cheeses that showcase the best of Tasmania’s dairy produce. Indulge in a deliciously relaxing stop at Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm, where the flavours of Tasmania’s countryside come to life. Surrounded by picturesque farmland, guests can explore the farm shop and savour a range of house-made raspberry delights from decadent desserts and preserves to refreshing beverages all crafted from locally grown produce. As the day draws to a close, return for your final night to Hotel Grand Chancellor Launceston for a comfortable stay and farewell dinner.

Start your day with a leisurely breakfast at the hotel and time to explore the Launceston CBD, embracing a calm beginning before another unforgettable day unfolds. Travel to the Tea Equation, where you will spend your morning participating in a tea blending session. You even get to take a kit home with you! It is now time to return to Hobart, but not before a stop for lunch and a visit at the stunning Campbell Town Church. Savour a delightful hot and cold buffet, as you immerse yourself in the Scottish heritage of the region. Following this experience, your home drop off brings this unforgettable exploration of Northern Tasmania in Bloom to an end.

MULTI-DAY TOURS: To secure your seat, a deposit is required immediately. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable to other tours. There will be a final date provided for the remainder of the package payment. After final payment due date, payment is non-refundable and non-transferable.
PASSENGER FORMS: All travellers on our Multi Day and Interstate/ International Tours are required to complete a Passenger Form. This only needs to be completed once or updated when your details change.
PICK UP: If you have a group of 6 or more passengers attending a day tour, we can arrange a separate pick up for you. All Travel Club multi-day tours have a Hobart Greater region home pick up, unless otherwise stated.
POSTAGE: Due to increased cost of postage & delays we will not be posting payment receipts unless requested, postage charges will apply. When phoning through payment we encourage you to provide us with an email address to receive receipts.
