As well as Australia's first stone bridge and first Catholic church along with local artist’s ares. This afternoon you might like to travel to the summit of kunanyi- Mt Wellington for extensive views over southern Tasmania (weather dependent).

Day 2 – Bruny Island

Today you have a booking for the Bruny Island Cruise. Travel to Kettering to take the ferry to Bruny Island. It is recommended to leave early. From Hobart, you'll need to drive 45 minutes south to the Bruny Island Ferry Terminal in Kettering. The SeaLink ferry crossing takes 15-20 minutes and once you're on Bruny Island, it's a 40-minute drive south to the Pennicott’s departure point. Cruise alongside some of Australia's highest sea cliffs, beneath towering crags and drift up close to listen to the awesome 'Breathing Rock'. Enter Bruny Island's deep-sea caves, pass through the narrow gap between the coast and 'The Monument' and feel the power of nature at the point where the Tasman Sea meets the might of the Southern Ocean.

Inclusions: 3hr Bruny Island Cruise

Accommodation: Wrest Point (or similar)

Day 3 – Day at Leisure (Hobart & surrounds)

You might like to take a drive through the Derwent Valley and New Norfolk to Mount Field National Park. Mount Field National Park is one of Tasmania’s oldest national parks and is also one of its most diverse. Spectacular glaciated landscapes compete for attention with cascading waterfalls, including the breathtaking, three-tiered Russell Falls - arguably one of the most impressive waterfalls in Tasmania. There are plenty of bushwalking options available for all fitness levels - such as Three Falls Circuit or the Tall Trees walk. Alternatively you could venture into the Coal River Valley Wine region and visit some of Tasmania's finest vineyards and cellar doors (just don’t drink and drive). You might like to stop into Zoodoo on the way back (own expense) .

Day 4 – Day at Leisure (Hobart & surrounds)

Today is all about spectacular coastlines, fascinating geological features and World Heritage listed Port Arthur Historic site. The coastal environment is home to the highest sea cliffs in the southern hemisphere and unique rock formations, such as Tessellated Pavement, the Blow Hole, Tasman Arch or Devil’s Kitchen. You might like to visit Port Arthur Historic Site, a special place of vivid history, cultural heritage and compelling convict stories.
