From Hobart, you'll need to drive 45 minutes south to the Bruny Island Ferry Terminal in Kettering. The SeaLink ferry crossing takes 15-20 minutes and once you're on Bruny Island, it's a 40-minute drive south to the Pennicott’s departure point. Cruise alongside some of Australia's highest sea cliffs, beneath towering crags and drift up close to listen to the awesome 'Breathing Rock'. Enter Bruny Island's deep-sea caves, pass through the narrow gap between the coast and 'The Monument' and feel the power of nature at the point where the Tasman Sea meets the might of the Southern Ocean. After your cruise take some time to enjoy local produce shops including Bruny Island Honey, Bruny Island Chocolate Co, Bruny Island Cheese Company, Get Shucked Oysters and Bruny Island Premium Wines. A visit to The Neck Lookout is a must before getting back on the ferry and returning to Hobart.

There are plenty of bushwalking options available for all fitness levels - such as Three Falls Circuit or the Tall Trees walk. Before you depart you may choose to enjoy lunch at the Waterfalls Cafe within the National Park. This afternoon is yours to spend at leisure. On your way back to Hobart you may choose to visit the Salmon Ponds in New Norfolk or Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary in Brighton.
