Day 1

Begin your Tamar Tour with a personalised home pick-up by one of our friendly drivers. Your first stop will be in Campbell Town for a spot of morning tea. From there, you’re heading to Josef Chromy Wines for a delicious lunch spread, paired with fabulous local wines. Hear from the experts directly and enjoy the passion you can taste in every glass! Your next stop is for a guided tour of The Queen Victoria Museum at Inveresk. There is plenty to see and do here, with something to pique everyone’s interests. Lastly, you are heading to your home away from home, The Hotel Grand Chancellor Launceston. Enjoy a delicious 2-course dinner onsite, before settling in for the night.

Day 2

Start the morning off strong with a full buffet breakfast before you head to your first stop of the day, The Creation Discovery Centre. Here, you will take a look at the displays and delve into the origins of life on Earth. There will be time to visit Seahorse World and Platypus House for a bit of insight into these fascinating creatures. Next, it’s time to shift your focus back to the human experience with some lunch. You’ll be dining at the Beauty Point Hotel for a delicious meal, before you’re moving onwards to The Beaconsfield Heritage Centre for a guided tour. Learn all about Beaconsfield’s fascinating mining history, and maybe you’ll even find some gold! Your 2-course dinner tonight will be onsite at your accommodation, before retiring for the evening.

Day 3

Your final day on tour begins with a full buffet breakfast and a leisurely start. Mid-morning, you’ll arrive at your Tamar River Cruise, for a 4-hour float along the Tamar River. This cruise includes lunch, so you can truly sit back, relax, and be taken care of. After your cruise, it is time to head back to Hobart for your personalised home-drop off.

• CASH: We love to see you! Visit our office between 8am - 4pm weekdays and we would be delighted to assist with a booking.

• CARD: Phone or visit our office to make payment using VISA, Mastercard or AMEX, unfortunately our payment system does not accept keycards.

• CHEQUE: Please phone or email us to ensure availability then send cheques to

• BANK TRANSFER: Please phone or email us to ensure availability and we will confirm bank details.

• DAY TOURS: To secure your seat, full payment is required immediately. If you are unable to attend a day tour, we require 48 hours’ notice and we can provide you with a credit to use on another day tour. Day Tour payments are non-refundable.

• MULTI-DAY TOURS: To secure your seat, a deposit is required immediately. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable to other tours. There will be a final date provided for the remainder of the package payment. After final payment due date, payment is non-refundable and non-transferable.

• PASSENGER FORMS: All travellers on our Multi Day and Interstate/ International Tours are required to complete a Passenger Form. This only needs to be completed once or updated when your details change.

• PICK UP: If you have a group of 6 or more passengers attending a day tour, we can arrange a separate pick up for you. All Travel Club multi-day tours have a Hobart Greater region home pick up, unless otherwise stated.

• POSTAGE: Due to increased cost of postage & delays we will not be posting payment receipts unless requested, postage charges will apply. When phoning through payment we encourage you to provide us with an email address to receive receipts.

• TRAVEL INSURANCE: We strongly recommend you obtain appropriate travel insurance prior to paying your final balance for any of our multi-day tours.

• PRICE CHANGES: Prices may change without notification.

• ITINERARY CHANGES: We reserve the right to alter or omit any part of the itinerary.

• SAFETY: Love Tasmania Tours and Coal River Coaches reserves the right to decline to carry anyone if it is felt the individual cannot cope with the requirements of the tour, or who may require services that we cannot guarantee will be available, or if meals (due to certain dietary requirements) cannot be catered for.

• WAIT LISTS: If a Tour that you want to go on is full, we can pop you on the “Waitlist”. This means if we have a cancellation, we will contact you.
