Day 1
Welcome travellers! We start the day with a personalised home pick-up before making our way to Hobart Airport to begin our trip. This afternoon, we will be flying with Virgin Australia to the Gold Coast, Via Sydney Airport. From the Gold Coast Airport, we will make our way to The Sky Point Observation Deck to indulge in a fabulous dinner with a view! Enjoy the stunning 360 views of the Gold Coast’s Surfer’s Paradise while you eat and relax into the evening. After dinner, we will make our way to our home for the next two nights, The Sanctuary Cover Intercontinental Hotel, situated on Hope Island. DDay 2
Good morning! We begin day 2 with a full buffet breakfast at our accommodation. After boarding our coach for the day, we will make our way into the town of Tyalgum. Here, we will visit the Flutterbies Cottage Cafe for morning tea, lunch, and a tour of The Garden of Light. Afterwards, we will make our way through Murwillumbah and to The Tweed Regional Gallery & Margaret Olley Art Centre. We will be treated to a guided tour of the gallery, highlighting Margaret’s impact on the Australian art world. We will end the day with a scenic drive back to our accommodation, before sitting down to enjoy a luxurious dinner at the onsite restaurant, and to enjoy our final evening at Sanctuary Cove. B, MT, L , DDay 3
This morning, we are treated to another incredible buffet breakfast, before we say goodbye to Sanctuary Cove. It is finally time to make our way to Toowoomba, but first, we will stop for a spell in Ipswich to explore the local area. Now is the moment you’ve waited for! Our next stop is the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers! More specifically, we will enjoy the festivities at Queen’s Park. There is plenty to see and do, including dozens of food trucks & stalls to purchase some lunch. As the afternoon winds down, you might like to take in all sights from above, in the Ferris Wheel. At dinner time, we will mosey down the road to The Cube Hotel for a delicious meal. Afterwards, we will head back to Queen’s Park to delight in the stunning fireworks display to commemorate the festival. After a whirlwind day, it’s time to head to our accommodation for the remainder of the trip, Burke & Willis Hotel Toowoomba. Inclusions: Hope Island | Ipswich | Toowoomba
B, DDay 4
We’ll start our first morning in Toowoomba off with a full buffet breakfast at the onsite restaurant. We will continue with our adventures to the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers, beginning with the Ju Raku En Japanese Garden. Situated on the southern side of the University of Southern Queensland, the 4.5-hectare spectacle translates roughly to “to enjoy peace and longevity in a public place”. Next, we will journey to the Gumbi Gumbi Gardens, followed by the Spring Bluff Gardens, with plenty of time in between to stop for lunch at your own leisure. We will head back to our accommodation to enjoy dinner at the onsite restaurant before retiring for the night, dreaming of flowers. Inclusions: Toowoomba
B, DDay 5
We are treated to a full buffet breakfast again before we head out for the day. Our first stop is Picnic Point Park & Gardens. The State heritage-listed Picnic Point provides breathtaking panoramic views eastward to Table Top Mountain and the Lockyer Valley. We will visit the Picnic Point Cafe, where you may purchase lunch at your own leisure. After lunch, we will head to the first of five stunning private gardens situated around Toowoomba. The full list of private gardens will be advised closer to the tour date. We return to Burke & Willis Hotel once again for a lovely dinner to finish off our day. Inclusions: Toowoomba
B, DDay 6
Good morning! It is our final full day in Toowoomba, so let’s make it super special! We’ll start today off with our final full buffet breakfast before heading off for Laurel Bank Park. Here we will enjoy more of the Carnival of Flowers festivities. We will finish off our time here with a twilight tour of the garden, guided by beautiful glowing lanterns and a knowledgeable flower expert. After our tour concludes and the sun has finished its decent, we will head to our accommodation for our final dinner together. Inclusions: Toowoomba
B, DDay 7
This morning, we bid farewell to Toowoomba, and we will head to Brisbane Airport for our return flights to Hobart. Once again, we will be flying with Virgin Australia, via Melbourne to Hobart. Once we’re back in Hobart Airport, you will be collected by our fabulous drivers and returned home safely. We’re sure you have bunches of great memories! Inclusions: Toowoomba | Brisbane | Hobart

BANK TRANSFER: Please contact us for payment details.
DAY TOURS: to secure your seat, full payment is required immediately. If you are unable to attend a day tour, we require 48 hours notice and we can provide you with a credit to use on another day tour. Cancellation under 48 hours is non-refundable.
MULTI-DAY TOURS: to secure your seat, a deposit is required immediately. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable to other tours. There will be a final date provided for the remainder of the package payment.
PASSENGER FORMS: All travellers on our Multi Day and Interstate/ International Tours are required to complete a Passenger Form which includes details of dietary, mobility and next of kin. This only needs to be completed once or updated when your details change.
COVID19 VACCINATION: To participate in our tours you are required to be 'up-to-date' (as per Australian Government guidelines) with your COVID Vaccination. We require proof of vaccination and ask to sight your Covid Vaccination Certificate.
If we cancel a tour for any reason, we can provide a refund or credit to be used within 18 months.
PICK UP: If you have a group of 6 or more, we can arrange a separate pick up for you.
POSTAGE: Due to increased cost of postage & delays we will not be posting payment receipts. We encourage you to visit us at our office if you require a receipt or provide us with an email address.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: We strongly recommend you obtain appropriate travel insurance at the time of paying your deposit for any of our multi-day tours.
PRICE CHANGES: Prices may change without notification.
ITINERARY CHANGES: We reserve the right to alter or omit any part of the itinerary.
SAFETY: Coal River Coaches reserves the right to decline to carry anyone if it is felt the individual cannot cope with the requirements of the tour, or who may require services that we cannot guarantee will be available, or if meals (due to certain dietary requirements) cannot be catered for.
SEATING: Coal River Coaches now operates with a Seat Rotation system on all Coach Tours.
WAIT LISTS: If a Tour that you want to go on is full, we can pop you on the Waitlist. This means if we have a cancellation, we will contact you.
