Day 1

Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Hobart to the charming coastal town of Triabunna, where you'll board the ferry to the wild and beautiful Maria Island. After a short crossing, you’ll arrive in Darlington, a historic township filled with natural wonders and convict-era ruins. Enjoy a packed picnic lunch near the Commissariat Store. If you're up for it, take a gentle walk through Darlington’s fascinating old buildings. The Darlington Convict Site offers a short, flat loop walk with interpretive signage to bring the history alive. Keep your eyes peeled for a friendly wombat or two! By mid-afternoon, you'll return to the ferry and cruise back to the mainland, where your journey continues up the coast to Bicheno. Check-in to Diamond Island Resort, perched on the edge of the sea. Wind down the evening with a relaxed dinner at the onsite restaurant, soaking in the sound of the waves and the fresh coastal air.

Day 2

Start your morning with breakfast at the resort, before heading out to experience Bicheno from a whole new perspective - aboard a glass-bottom boat! Drift over the clear waters and enjoy a close look at the marine life beneath the surface. After your aquatic adventure, it’s time for a stylish lunch at the modern and quirky Little Beach Co. In the afternoon, you’ll make your way inland to the beautiful Martha Vale Park, a rural estate that offers a glimpse into Tasmania’s country lifestyle. Explore the grounds and soak in the landscape with a guided tour. From there, head northeast to the coastal town of St Helens, where we will check in to the Panorama Hotel. Wrap up the day with a relaxed dinner at the hotel restaurant, reflecting on the sights, sounds, and stories of the journey so far.

Day 3

After breakfast and check-out from Panorama Hotel, your final day offers a relaxed blend of shopping, sipping, and scenery. First stop is the charming Shop in the Bush, a hidden gem filled with antiques and curiosities. It's the perfect spot to browse for something unique, or just enjoy the quirky atmosphere. Next, the group makes its way to the stunning Devil’s Corner Cellar Door. Here, you'll enjoy a wine tasting experience paired with a casual lunch, surrounded by sweeping views of vineyards and coastline. With the afternoon stretching ahead, it's time to indulge your sweet tooth at Kate’s Berry Farm. Wander through the farm shop, enjoy some jam tastings, or simply sit back with a dessert and take in the peaceful surroundings. One final stop in Orford gives everyone a chance for a comfort break before the journey concludes, ending your East Coast escape full of memories, flavours, and moments to savour.

• DAY TOURS: To secure your seat, full payment is required immediately. If you are unable to attend a day tour, we require 48 hours’ notice and we can provide you with a credit to use on another day tour. Day Tour payments are non-refundable.

• MULTI-DAY TOURS: To secure your seat, a deposit is required immediately. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable to other tours. There will be a final date provided for the remainder of the package payment. After final payment due date, payment is non-refundable and non-transferable.

• PASSENGER FORMS: All travellers on our Multi Day and Interstate/ International Tours are required to complete a Passenger Form. This only needs to be completed once or updated when your details change.

• PICK UP: If you have a group of 6 or more passengers attending a day tour, we can arrange a separate pick up for you. All Travel Club multi-day tours have a Hobart Greater region home pick up, unless otherwise stated.

• POSTAGE: Due to increased cost of postage & delays we will not be posting payment receipts unless requested, postage charges will apply. When phoning through payment we encourage you to provide us with an email address to receive receipts.

• TRAVEL INSURANCE: We strongly recommend you obtain appropriate travel insurance prior to paying your final balance for any of our multi-day tours.

• PRICE CHANGES: Prices may change without notification.

• ITINERARY CHANGES: We reserve the right to alter or omit any part of the itinerary.

• SAFETY: Love Tasmania Tours and Coal River Coaches reserves the right to decline to carry anyone if it is felt the individual cannot cope with the requirements of the tour, or who may require services that we cannot guarantee will be available, or if meals (due to certain dietary requirements) cannot be catered for.

• WAIT LISTS: If a Tour that you want to go on is full, we can pop you on the “Waitlist”. This means if we have a cancellation, we will contact you.
