Ho ho ho! It’s that time of year again, let’s celebrate! Experience the magic of Christmas with our friends at The Cradle Mountain Hotel. We will visit some of our favourite spots along the way, including Waddamana, Deloraine and Longford. Enjoy delicious meals, fascinating estate tours, fabulous Boxing Day shopping, and memories aplenty with your friends amongst the travel club.

Day 1

Welcome travellers! We begin our Christmas adventure with a personalised home pick-up. Once we have collected everyone in our sleigh, oops I mean coach! We will journey to the Waddamana Power Station for a tour & a morning tea. It’s important to learn about how our electric Christmas lights can twinkle so bright! Next, we head to Deloraine for a lovely lunch, followed by some light shopping and exploring the town. Cradle Mountain awaits, so we will make the final leg of our journey and check-in to the Cradle Mountain Hotel. It’s time to relax and sink into the Christmas spirit with a fabulous two course dinner. Early to bed tonight, Santa is on his way!

Day 2

Merry Christmas! Today is all about 3 things: presents, togetherness and food! Let’s get you started today with a buffet breakfast, followed by a peek under the tree to see what Santa has brought you... Lunch will be onsite at the hotel at your own cost & the rest of the day is up to you. Spend you Christmas Day however you see fit. There are lots of relaxing walks in the surrounding area, or if you’d prefer to lounge in all day, we won’t judge! Dinner will be a buffet, made up of all our favourite Christmas classics. Mmmm we can smell the turkey already!

Day 3

Today, you have a few options for how you would like to spend your Boxing Day. After breakfast, you may want to have a loungey day in, relaxing at the hotel and exploring the surrounds at Cradle Mountain. Or you may like to venture into Deloraine for some Boxing Day sales and a visit to the Arboretum. The choice is yours! Dinner will be at the onsite restaurant as we have our final evening together.

Day 4

We have reached the end of our stay at Cradle Mountain. After breakfast, we will journey to Longford where we will visit the Brickendon Estate for a tour and some morning tea. We couldn’t possibly leave Longford without stopping at Longford Berries to grab a sweet treat for the drive home. Lunch will be at the Clarendon Arms Hotel. Then we venture home, via Oatlands for a short comfort stop. Our driver will drop you home, safe and sound, hopefully with a very full belly and heart!

BOOKING INFORMATION AND PAYMENT METHODS

 

• Post in booking request/s with cheque to PO Box 73, Richmond 7025 and we will do the rest, please include your pick-up point and best contact number.

• Phone or visit our office and we can make a booking for you and provide you with a receipt.

• BANK TRANSFER: Please contact us for payment details.

• DAY TOURS: to secure your seat, full payment is required immediately. If you are unable to attend a day tour, we require 48 hours’ notice and we can provide you with a credit to use on another day tour. Cancellation under 48 hours is non-refundable.

• MULTI-DAY TOURS: to secure your seat, a deposit is required immediately. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable to other tours. There will be a final date provided for the remainder of the package payment.

• PASSENGER FORMS: All travellers on our Multi Day and Interstate/ International Tours are required to complete a Passenger Form which includes details of dietary, mobility and next of kin. This only needs to be completed once or updated when your details change.

• COVID19 VACCINATION: To participate in our tours you are required to be 'up-to-date' (as per Australian Government guidelines) with your COVID Vaccination. We require proof of vaccination and ask to sight your Covid Vaccination Certificate.

• If we cancel a tour for any reason, we can provide a refund or credit to be used within 18 months.

• PICK UP: If you have a group of 6 or more, we can arrange a separate pick up for you.

• POSTAGE: Due to increased cost of postage & delays we will not be posting payment receipts. We encourage you to visit us at our office if you require a receipt or provide us with an email address.

• TRAVEL INSURANCE: We strongly recommend you obtain appropriate travel insurance at the time of paying your deposit for any of our multi-day tours.

• PRICE CHANGES: Prices may change without notification.

• ITINERARY CHANGES: We reserve the right to alter or omit any part of the itinerary.

• SAFETY: Coal River Coaches reserves the right to decline to carry anyone if it is felt the individual cannot cope with the requirements of the tour, or who may require services that we cannot guarantee will be available, or if meals (due to certain dietary requirements) cannot be catered for.

• SEATING: Coal River Coaches now operates with a Seat Rotation system on all Coach Tours.

• WAIT LISTS: If a Tour that you want to go on is full, we can pop you on the “Waitlist”. This means if we have a cancellation, we will contact you.

Our Tours are subject to the venue & events in which we attend. If there are any changes or cancellations, we will make reasonable endeavours to contact you.
