Day 1

Welcome to your Northern Tassie getaway! Firstly, we will arrive at your doorstep to pick you up and to help load your baggage onto the coach. We will then head to Campbell Town for a short and sweet comfort stop, before making our way to Josef Chromy Vineyard. Here we will enjoy a delicious two-course lunch and wine tasting to enchant your senses. We are then on our way to Cataract Gorge, where we can enjoy and explore the gorgeous scenery. From there, your driver will take you on a coach tour of Launceston, making sure to stop at all the city’s highlights. It’s now time to check in to our accommodation at The Hotel Grand Chancellor Launceston. You will have some time to freshen up before we head to The Avenue Restaurant for some dinner. It is time to wind down for the evening now and prepare for a fun-filled day tomorrow.

Day 2

Good morning! Enjoy a breakfast at the hotel before we head off to our first stop of the day, Lilydale Falls. Here we can explore the natural beauty of the falls and optionally partake in a walk. From here we will head to Piper Brook Truffles Farm, where a tour awaits us. Learn about the truffle farming experience and have a sample of Tasmania’s finest. Just around the bend, it is time for lunch! We will arrive at Nadines & Piper Brook Vineyard for a delightful feed and wine tasting. Our next stop is the Windy Park Alpacas. Enjoy a tour of the farm and make some new furry friends! We will arrive back at our hotel for the evening. From here, you have a free evening to do as you please. Launceston has many fantastic food & entertainment opportunities for you to enjoy to your heart’s content. Our driver will have plenty of great recommendations for you!

Day 3

Make sure to grab some breakfast at the hotel before we head off! Today our first stop will be to Tasmania Zoo. Get up close and personal with all sorts of friendly animals, and enjoy the charming cafe. We are then heading into Westbury for some light shopping at the unique local stores, including Little Marney’s Gift Shop. We will have a delicious pub lunch at the historical Westbury Hotel. We will explore other quirky places in the area, including Pearn’s Steam World. Next up, we will next head to Grindelwald for a wander and some shopping. After a fun day out, we will head to The Boatyard Launceston for dinner before heading back to the hotel for the evening. We are onto our final day, so rest up!

Day 4

It’s time for some breakfast and to say adios to Launceston! We will head to Latrobe to visit Reliquaire, Simon Martin Leathergoods, and other wacky wonders. Feel free to explore! Next, we will head to Port Sorell for lunch at The Trend Shed. Enjoy the gorgeous views and local hospitality. Whether you need coffee, some new shoes, or a new piece of furniture, The Trend Shed has you covered! Finally, it is time to head back south to Ross, where we will have a quick comfort stop. Then it is onwards towards Hobart, where you will dropped of safe & sound at your home. Farewell!

BOOKING INFORMATION AND PAYMENT METHODS

• Post in booking request/s with cheque to PO Box 73, Richmond 7025 and we will do the rest, please include your pick-up point and best contact number.

• Phone or visit our office and we can make a booking for you and provide you with a receipt.

• BANK TRANSFER: Please contact us for payment details.

• DAY TOURS: to secure your seat, full payment is required immediately. If you are unable to attend a day tour, we require 48 hours’ notice and we can provide you with a credit to use on another day tour. Cancellation under 48 hours is non-refundable.

• MULTI-DAY TOURS: to secure your seat, a deposit is required immediately. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable to other tours. There will be a final date provided for the remainder of the package payment.

• PASSENGER FORMS: All travellers on our Multi Day and Interstate/ International Tours are required to complete a Passenger Form which includes details of dietary, mobility and next of kin. This only needs to be completed once or updated when your details change.

• COVID19 VACCINATION: To participate in our tours you are required to be 'up-to-date' (as per Australian Government guidelines) with your COVID Vaccination. We require proof of vaccination and ask to sight your Covid Vaccination Certificate.

• If we cancel a tour for any reason, we can provide a refund or credit to be used within 18 months.

• PICK UP: If you have a group of 6 or more, we can arrange a separate pick up for you.

• POSTAGE: Due to increased cost of postage & delays we will not be posting payment receipts. We encourage you to visit us at our office if you require a receipt or provide us with an email address.

• TRAVEL INSURANCE: We strongly recommend you obtain appropriate travel insurance at the time of paying your deposit for any of our multi-day tours.

• PRICE CHANGES: Prices may change without notification.

• ITINERARY CHANGES: We reserve the right to alter or omit any part of the itinerary.

• SAFETY: Coal River Coaches reserves the right to decline to carry anyone if it is felt the individual cannot cope with the requirements of the tour, or who may require services that we cannot guarantee will be available, or if meals (due to certain dietary requirements) cannot be catered for.

• SEATING: Coal River Coaches now operates with a Seat Rotation system on all Coach Tours.

• WAIT LISTS: If a Tour that you want to go on is full, we can pop you on the “Waitlist”. This means if we have a cancellation, we will contact you.

Our Tours are subject to the venue & events in which we attend. If there are any changes or cancellations, we will make reasonable endeavours to contact you.
