Ross transports visitors back in time with its cobblestone streets, convict-built sandstone buildings, and picturesque stone bridge. The town is home to a number of captivating landmarks, including the Ross Female Factory Historic Site, where you can learn about the lives of female convicts.
The next stop is Franklin House, a captivating Georgian-style mansion preserved by the National Trust Tasmania. Step into the past and embark on a self-guided tour through this elegant residence. Admire the beautifully furnished rooms, discover intriguing stories of its former inhabitants, and gain insights into the colonial lifestyle of the early settlers.
As the day winds down, settle into the tranquil ambiance of Aspect Tamar Valley Resort in Grindelwald, your home for the night.
