Day 1
Our stylish Sydney adventure begins! Sydney has many unique and interesting neighbourhoods including the famous Bondi, home to the iconic Bondi Beach. Today we will be enjoying a beachside lunch and you are more than welcome to enjoy the spectacular coastal walk or relax with a beverage or two. Next we move on to Newtown, known for its stunning street art. We take a Food & Street Art walking tour, lead by a local guide who will share the history of the area and the story behind the colourful characters we come across, all while you eat your way through Newtown.
It is then time to check into our accommodation, The Old Clare Hotel, located in the heart of Chippendale. You will find yourself surrounded by a buzzing hub of galleries, cafes and restaurants and just across the road from Central Park Mall.
While The Old Clare has been renovated into the luxurious accommodation that it is now, you can see parts of its perserved history, particularly in the Clare Bar which still has its original tiles and traditional watering hole atmosphere. This is where we will be enjoying dinner tonight.
Day 2
Today we enjoy breakfast as a group, but then the day is yours to do as you please. We have blocked this out as a completely free day, so whether you are interested in shopping, galleries, museums, gardens, parks, theatre performances, the casino, Sydney Tower or walking the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the choice is yours! If you would like any help with getting to where you want to go, ask your tour leader for assistance and they can get you there.
Why not also take some time to relax at our fantastic accommodation? With a pool, bar and abundance of food options nearby you will be all set.
Day 3
Rise and shine for a day of exploring Sydney's highlights. Our first stop is none other than the Sydney Opera House for a guided tour, taking you through many of the venues and theatres. We then sit back and relax taking in the view from the Opera Bar, a harbourside dinning venue where we will enjoy a delicious lunch. We take a short stroll to our next location, the grand Government House. We will be lead on a guided tour of the House and magnificent grounds.
The rest of the afternoon is yours to explore the Royal Botanical Gardens, otherwise you may wish to go to the Art Gallery of New South Wales or the Museum of Sydney, just a short distance from the gardens.
We reunite to make our way to a sunset dinner cruise on the Sydney Harbour. Get the best photo opportunities as the sun goes down and then the city lights make the night come alive. This will be particularly spectacular as the Vivid Sydney light show whisks you into world of colour. You will get to enjoy a lovely 3-course dinner consisting of local ingredients paired with the finest wines of the region.
Day 4
It is our last day but there is still fun to be had. We enjoy our final breakfast at The Old Clare Hotel before checking out. We will be lead on a guided tour of the Chinese Garden of Friendship, a fantastic place of tranquillity and beauty, the perfect place to reflect on the enjoyable memories you have made on this trip. The garden infuses traditional Chinese culture with Australian attributes. You will find exotic plants and beautiful blooming flowers as well as a lake full of majestic Koi. Our next stop is lunch at the delicious Pumphouse Bar and Restaurant, so we can sit down together one more time before heading to the airport.
