Today we depart for our 3 days of luxury living on the East Coast. Our first stop is at Three Thumbs Lookout in Orford for morning tea and to take in the spectacular sights. When we get back on the road, we head to our first Vineyard. We aren’t messing about, we know you’re here for the wine.
We arrive at Craigie Knowe Vineyard for high tea, including delicious food, amazing wine and a meet the makers experience with our wonderful host Glenn.
We have had a hard day taking in pretty views and sipping wine so its time to check in at Freycinet Lodge where you shall have free time until dinner. This is a good opportunity to stroll along Honeymoon Bay or rent a bicycle to ride around the national park.
We have got an early start today, but trust that its worth it. We head further north to Binalong Bay renowned for its stretches of white sandy beaches and crystal waters which will carry us on our Bay of Fires tour. This cruise allows us to learn about the gorgeous area’s history and natural beauty as we marvel at the panoramic view of the coastline.
I know that no one will want to leave this spectacular place, although there are more adventures to be had! We depart Binalong Bay for St Helens, the winner of Tassie's Top Tourism Towns for 2020 for having the best visitor experience. While here we have the option to purchase lunch and enjoy free time to explore.
Heading back down the coast we stop for a bit of a different type of tasting at Kate’s Berry Farm in Swansea. This unique little gem offers a just dessert menu, with ice cream that is pure indulgence and bottles of Strawberry dessert wine made from the farms produce. While here you can choose to purchase whatever your heart (stomach) desires or stroll the grounds taking in the wonderful sights of Great Oyster Bay and Freycinet National Park.
On our final day we depart our superb accommodation for a delightful brunch at Devils Corner. Make sure you are ready to feel very classy as this experience includes a hosted premium tasting and seafood platters.
After this we must start returning south where we stop in at Triabunna. While here we have the option to purchase lunch (if you aren’t still full from brunch) and partake in a self-guided Discovery Walk starting from the visitors centre. After which time we depart Triabunna for Hobart.
